Greenworks, with the support of its sister brands Jewson, Graham, Gibbs & Dandy and Minster, has launched a new app, designed to help domestic energy assessors complete Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) remotely – removing the need for paper-based surveys. The free app is being offered to all pre-qualified installers undertaking a DEA course at Greenworks, while registered assessors can download the app for a seven-day trial period from the App Store by searching GWSAP on the iPad.

The intuitive Greenworks GWSAP app provides Green Deal assessors with an end to end solution to carry out Green Deal assessments. The handy app presents assessors with a recommendation of measures, predicted EPC banding and ensures compliance throughout the process. This allows assessors to adjust measures in line with client preference and suitability before building an EPC for the property.

Marcus Jefford, Greenworks Academy Manager commented: “Our aim is to further support the Green Deal by engaging Energy Assessors and enabling them to offer their customers an end-to-end solution. With the help of the Greenworks App, we’re making the administrative process of generating and registering EPCs quick and simple.”

In addition, the GWSAP app is GPS linked so photographs are date and location stamped, so assessors can considerably speed up the process of lodging their results, while security for both the assessor and the homeowner is improved.
