Lendlease has awarded Stanmore Contractors the contract to provide the external facade finishes, and internal drylining, ceiling and screeding packages at its Elephant Park regeneration project in London.

Elephant Park is a £2.3bn regeneration that is re-establishing the Elephant & Castle’s status in Zone 1 as a successful Central London destination In conjunction with leading international property and infrastructure group, Lendlease, Stanmore will provide packages for the West Grove phase of Elephant Park with work commencing this month and completion in 2018.

This major contract win will see Stanmore installing 32,000m2 of drywall and suspended ceilings as well as extensive screeding and facade packages. The West Grove area will comprise of almost 600 homes in various building sizes, ranging from five to 31 storeys. The homes will take the form of two tall buildings and a series of mansion blocks.

Stanmore will carry out the design and installation of the 14,000 m2 steel frame system and install Knauf Marmorit insulated render, profiled cladding, splayed window and balcony flashings, and glass frame door entrances as part of the façade finishes.
