F&T Terrix teamed up with Salford City College Group, to welcome students to its training center for the spray plaster course.
The course helps support students on their journey to future employment in the construction industry.
John Gott Technical Training Manager at F&T Terrix said: “We understand how hard it is to gain experience on-site and the courses we offer will aid in giving students the right skill set to take to future employees, introducing students to essential trade skills, and gaining hands-on practical experience”.
Experinced trainers guide students through the process step-by-step, providing interactive demonstrations. Students will then learn about the different types of Terrix materials and their benefits, spray application, correct tools and machinery, and how to achieve a flawless finish. It also covers safety protocols and best practices to ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently. Upon completion of the course, students receive accreditation certificates for the day of training.
Speaking of the students, John added: “They were a great bunch of students and definitely some future plasterers in the making. Well done to all, we are glad you enjoyed your plaster training day and we hope to see many of you on sites soon using Terrix!
