Dulux Trade has launched new-to-market formulations of its Dulux Trade Paint paints to help architects, specifiers and designers achieve longer lasting, brilliant results on their projects.

Part of the Dulux Trade Diamond range, the two emulsions are now 50 times more durable than standard trade emulsions, with enhanced protection against scrubs, scuffs and stains, to stand the test of daily wear and tear in high footfall commercial and domestic areas such as corridors, gyms and canteens.

They also feature stain repellent technology that mimics the water resistant properties of leaves to repel wet stains, making the paint even easier to keep clean.

In addition, the new formulations give a smoother, more even finish that ensures the paint specified brings a project beautifully to life, to sustain the impact of carefully chosen colours, the products feature new advanced anti-fade technology, which protects colour pigments, slowing down the effects of UV rays and internal room pollution for truly long-lasting colour.

Upgraded Dulux Trade Diamond Matt and Diamond Eggshell have been developed through extensive testing in the world-class AkzoNobel research and development centre in Slough, with expert chemists running more than 1,000 tests on the paints to ensure that they perform as effectively as possible. Both have both been rigorously tested to be able to withstand 10,000 scrubs which equates to six hours of continuous scrubbing without the finish being compromised to ensure they offer ultimate durability.

Paul Fleming, Marketing Manager Contractor Specifier at AkzoNobel said; “We continually look at ways to improve our products to ensure contractors can complete a project in a way that reflects the vision of architects and interior designers for a space.”
