Mansell’s has launched its Carbon Reduction Plan, a document which sets out the company’s commitment to achieving net zero.
Back in 2019 the Government announced an amend to the Climate Change Act by introducing a target of at least a 100% reduction in the net UK carbon account by 2050. Recognising the impact of construction on the environment, Mansell’s is tackling issues such as resource protection and climate change head on. Across the businesses operations and associated activities and services, commitment to long-term sustainability and working to eliminate carbon is something at the forefront of Mansell’s strategy.
Following research and analysis of the businesses current emissions to identify benchmark figures and agreeing a series of environmental management measures and projects, Mansell’s has committed to reaching net zero by 2038, 12 years ahead of the Government’s target.
