OmniRoom is a room-in-room system for creating plug-and-play, fully flexible office spaces. It uses patented technological innovations and the benefits of adaptable architecture to offer an easy solution for building comfortable and reshapable spaces suitable for hybrid work environments.

The system allows users to create tailor-made Rooms and spaces or choose from +50 preconfigured options designed to serve 4 main office functions. The collection includes workstations, phone booths, soundproof pods for focus work, conference rooms of different sizes, chillout areas, and even coffee points or cloakrooms. All Rooms can be placed separately or combined into multifunctional hubs. The construction can be easily modified: users can create many structures from the same modules, ensuring the system fits current needs.

Plus, every OmniRoom has ventilation, lighting, and electricity integrated. Closed Rooms are also supplied with sound-insulating solutions.

Finally, Rooms can be furnished with wall-mounted add-ons from OmniRoom Furniture Set, which includes desks, tables, cabinets, shelves, and much more. With the furniture set, the user can utilize every inch of space effectively (the size of the furniture matches the sizes of wall modules) and give the OmniRoom a coherent, stylish look. All elements can be easily hung on any height of any wall (inside or out) and rearranged freely (thanks to the specially designed hook system).

How the new product was developed, including effective collaboration, knowledge transfer and partnership along the project team
Our main idea was to develop a solution that would combine concepts of acoustic pods, meeting rooms, and space dividers and elevate them to provide a holistic solution for creating full-flexible, construction-free office spaces. We wanted our system not to be an element, a mere addition to the office. We instead envisioned it as its essential part, the basic substance for arranging the workspace, allowing architects to fit out most of the office space with adaptable areas created through the system and reshape them freely.

To ensure the highest level of flexibility, we spent two years developing an entirely new, pioneering assembly system. Our patented solution allows one to connect walls without tools with only a click-in mechanism. It has simplified what has traditionally been the most challenging and time-consuming part of constructing similar products into an activity comparable to playing with Lego blocks—no need for drilling, complicated tools, or technical skills.

The product was developed in just two years, a remarkably short period for such a complex and innovative solution. The process required seamless cooperation between designers, engineers, architects, product managers and many other departments. The designers outlined the product’s shape, while the engineers invented the click-in mechanism.

Additionally, the architects created a set of predesigned Rooms based on real floor plans. The development process relied primarily on in-house resources.

How might this product have an influence on the specification
Because of its durable structure and ultimate flexibility, OmniRoom can revolutionize the office design process, providing a perfect alternative to rigid, non-moveable plasterboard constructions that are commonly used now. Choosing adaptable architecture and modular technology over drywall means less material, less waste during relocation, reduced CO2, and infinitely more adaptability, which is everything the hybrid world of work requires nowadays.

How can this product enhance an interior space
OmniRoom makes an office infinitely more adaptable to swift and sudden changes, which are now more common than ever. Every construction can be easily readapted to change shape or serve different functions: one square meter of OmniRoom can be assembled in 20 minutes by three people. That means rearranging the office layout or changing the location is no longer a hassle.

When OmniRoom needs to be moved, it is easily dismantled, transported, and rebuilt in a new place thanks to the lightweight aluminum structure and click-in assembly system.

Besides being incredibly comfortable, OmniRoom boasts adjustable furniture, effective ventilation, multifunctional lighting, acoustic properties, and a soothing color palette, all of which elevate the user experience.
