Specwall has announced a new manufacturing partnership with Oranmore Precast, strengthening the company’s UK manufacturing capability and supporting its continued growth across the UK construction industry.
Under the exclusive partnership, Oranmore Precast will manufacture Specwall systems in the UK, bringing additional manufacturing capability closer to the customers and projects Specwall supports.
The partnership will provide a number of benefits for customers, including shorter lead times, greater manufacturing oversight, increased flexibility and greater confidence in supply.
It also represents an important step in Specwall’s commitment to British manufacturing and its wider sustainability objectives. Manufacturing closer to UK projects has the potential to reduce transportation distances and will form part of the company’s future Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) assessments.
Specwall provides advanced prefabricated wall systems designed to support Modern Methods of Construction. Its systems offer an alternative to traditional blockwork, drywall and SFS, with factory-manufactured panels delivered ready for installation.
Time and motion studies have shown that Specwall can reduce the labour hours required for installation by more than 55%, helping contractors reduce labour requirements and improve installation efficiency on site.
The company supports projects across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, leisure, data centres, industrial, infrastructure and the public sector.
The company’s product range includes Specshaft, which features an A1 non-combustible smoke shaft solution fully tested to BS EN 1366-1 and BS EN 1366-8.
