A GYC perspective on delivering award-winning healthcare projects

GYC Commercial Interiors is proud to have supported Morgan Sindall in the successful delivery of the Norfolk and Norwich Community Diagnostic Centre, recently named Project of the Year at the Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards.

The award, presented within the Healthcare category, recognises the high level of coordination and performance achieved across the entire supply chain. GYC Commercial Interiors was responsible for delivering the drylining, ceilings, and SFS packages as part of the project.

Healthcare environments demand precision and reliability, with internal packages sitting at the centre of multiple critical interfaces and once installation begins, issues with coordination or sequencing quickly impact programme and compliance. What made this project work was early alignment between trades, clear understanding of performance requirements and consistent delivery on site. Getting those fundamentals right meant the internal package could be delivered without disruption.

Projects like this reinforce a simple point for the finishes and interiors sector: success in healthcare is driven less by design alone and more by how well teams coordinate and execute during delivery.
