Carey Group has bought the drywall giant the BDL Group.
BDL was establish by Frank Burke in the 1970s and has grown into one of the largest drywall contractors in the UK. BDL has a turnover of more than £50 million and employs 120 staff and more than 600 tradesmen.
A former winner of FPDC’s Plaisterers’ Trophy and a current holder of the Plaisterers’ livery company Sword of Excellence training award, BDL has a strong reputation having worked on many major commercial and housing developments around London and the south east.
BDL’s headquarters is in Uxbridge, Middlesex, and Carey, a privately owned groundworks, demolition and concrete structures specialist contractor, is based in Wembley, Middlesex.
