Etex Insulation has announced a new UK and Ireland sales structure that brings its Superglass and URSA insulation brands together for the first time.

The move strengthens the company’s ability to support architects, specifiers and contractors with a more integrated customer offering. Leading the unified structure is Chris Sweet, who has been appointed Sales Director, Etex Insulation UK & Ireland.

The move marks a significant step in the brand’s strategy to further align its insulation operations across the region, creating closer collaboration between the two brands and enhancing support for customers across both new-build and retrofit markets.

In his expanded role, Chris will lead sales activity across Superglass and URSA, with responsibility for: aligning sales leadership, strengthening technical collaboration and maximising opportunities across the combined business.

Chris joined Superglass in 2017 as a Business Development Manager and has since progressed through several senior commercial roles, most recently serving as Commercial Director.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris Sweet said: “Bringing the Superglass and URSA teams together is a positive stride forward for the business and, most importantly, for our customers. By aligning our expertise across both brands, we are creating a stronger platform to support customers with the solutions, technical knowledge and service they need across a complex and changing construction landscape.”

Kevin Tolson, General Manager – Etex Insulation Ltd – Superglass & URSA, added: “Chris has played a key role in the growth and success of Superglass over several years, and this appointment reflects both his leadership capabilities and our long-term ambitions for the business. Creating a unified sales structure across Superglass and URSA reinforces our commitment to delivering a more integrated, responsive and customer-focused insulation offering for the UK and Ireland market.”
