Euroform has added Versafloor® HD to its Versafloor® range of wood-based flooring panels.  The HD variant provides an even more solid feel option and has been assessed as limited combustibility, one of few structurally graded cement bonded particle flooring boards on the market with an A2fl-s1 Reaction to Fire classification according to BS EN 13501-1.

“Versafloor® HD offers the feel of a traditional structural floor without the weight and is extremely cost effective compared with plywood and OSB flooring boards,” says Euroform’s Technical Director John Taylor.  “Importantly, its limited combustibility provides the benefit of reduced risk of combustion compared to traditional wood-based flooring boards.”

Versafloor® HD is graded for structural use in floors and decking according to BS EN 13986.  Due to its higher density (1560 kg/m³ +/- 10%) it has more of a robust feel when compared with traditional wood-based flooring such as P5 particle board, plus the high density helps with noise control within floor/ceiling systems.

Highly moisture tolerant, Versafloor® HD will not rot or degrade in the presence of moisture.  It also provides higher thermal conductivity and heat capacity compared with traditional wood flooring boards, so is a good choice where thermal insulation and underfloor heating is required.

For speed and ease of installation, Versafloor® HD is supplied with tongue and groove edges to four sides.  It is available from stock in standard dimensions 1200 x 600 x 18mm or 22mm (laid size) and can be supplied as a pre-cut kit of parts to minimise cutting and waste.

Also effective as a non-structural overlay board, Versafloor® HD can be used for refurbishment and acoustic floor upgrades.

Versafloor® HD is one of a wide range of Euroform products and systems, which includes non-combustible exterior grade Versarend® render board, Easyboard® and Versaroc® MPA1 along with limited combustibility A2 Versapanel® sheathing boards and Weatherclad® cladding in a wide range of finishes.

Euroform has developed, fabricated and supplied materials for the construction industry since 1995, specialising in ensuring fire and thermal compliance across its product range.
