FIS member GYC Interior Solutions (Great Yarmouth Ceilings Ltd) has completed the SFS and interior package at the new Harlowbury Primary School in Harlow, Essex.
Delivered for Morgan Sindall Construction and commissioned by Essex County Council under the Essex Construction Framework (ECF3), the scheme comprises a new 420-place primary school and a 56-place Early Years and Childcare facility, replacing the existing school and significantly increasing local capacity.
Working in partnership with Metsec, GYC installed the structural framing system and associated interior elements to programme, maintaining quality and compliance with framework standards.
A recent site inspection highlighted the standard of workmanship delivered, reinforcing the value of coordinated collaboration between main contractor, manufacturer, and specialist contractor, an approach aligned with the principles promoted by FIS.
