Knauf UK is opening its showroom doors to the architectural community this month to celebrate Knauf Clerkenwell’s first birthday at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week festival.

Knauf Clerkenwell activity kicks off on Wednesday 22nd May with CPD on The Importance of Acoustics. This will focus on what constitutes good acoustics and how to achieve the right environment for the workplace or residence. The seminar will cover the likes of product testing, planning, sound absorption and specification.

This will be followed by Knauf Clerkenwell’s Big One, an evening celebration of the showrooms first year in London. The Clerkenwell team welcomes architects and the design community to join them for its first birthday themed party with a grown-up twist.

Thursday will see a Virtual Reality in Architecture seminar showcasing how VR is currently being used in architecture and how VR can take the industry further. The event will discuss how VR helps to minimise risks, aid training and the design process and assist with the management of construction projects.

As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of lightweight building products and systems, Knauf’s presence in the architectural heart of London has been vital. Since its official opening in May 2018, the showroom has played host to events, panel discussions and social gatherings, welcoming leading architects from around the UK and the world.

Clerkenwell Design Week provides Knauf the perfect opportunity to celebrate with existing customers and partners while welcoming new relationships with the architectural community.
