Ceiling systems manufacturer OWA has seen an increase in the installation of ceiling canopy shapes to add personality to an interior and deliver good acoustic performance.

The manufacturer’s free-hanging ceiling shapes come in the form of squares, circles or triangles with surfaces covered in white fleece or coloured fabrics to create effects from floating islands to clouds. There is also the option of LED back lighting.

These intermittent design elements improve acoustics in environments such as reception areas, meeting rooms, open-plan offices, cafes and restaurants, and learning spaces.

The Curve (1 + 2) and Selecta systems were new to the range in 2015.
