Recticel insulation unveils a Class 0 version of its Eurothane GP board

Eurothane GP Class 0 is composed from a closed cell, rigid polyisocyanurate foam core, which is faced on both sides with an aluminium foil.   It has an exceptionally low thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK making it ideal for applications that require very high levels of thermal insulation.  What’s more, it is both CFC and HCFC free, meaning it has zero ozone depletion potential.

The new board, which retains all of the insulating properties found in Recticel’s Eurothane products, features a “Class 0” rating, offering increased application possibilities for contractors and safety for end users. Eurothane GP Class 0 will be available in a wide range of thicknesses and will assist in helping contractors to meet Building Regulations.

As with Eurothane GP, the Class 0 boards work within pitched roof and framed wall applications to provide a host of benefits. The Class 0 board, however, can also be used to great effect within Rainscreen cladding to provide an enhanced fire rating to a facade system with ventilated cavity, and equally as effectively as a Soffit Liner, again providing enhanced fire performance protection for exposed concrete soffits.
