CIBSE Certification Ltd have announced that they will be launching an Embodied Carbon Verification (ECV) register of verified MEP products. This new register will be available from late October to meet demand from manufacturers and consultants.
By achieving verification with CIBSE Certification manufacturers will benefit from increased promotion of their products through the new ECV register and CIBSE Certification marketing activities.

When selecting MEP products, embodied carbon data is only as reliable as the methodologies used for collation, and the organisation providing assurance. In the absence of EPDs, CIBSE Certification’s Embodied Carbon Verification, can provide assurance that manufacturers’ data:
- Has been independently verified by CIBSE Certification
- Uses robust and credible raw data, and calculations adhere to CIBSE TM65 methodology
