FIS member has shown their support to a Leicester family, but teaming up with DIY SOS in Leicester to help transform the home of 8-year-old Isla, who lives with Mandibuloacral Dysplasia — a rare condition that causes brittle bones and premature aging.
Working alongside DIY SOS and other teams, Measom helped make the property more accessible to support Isla’s independence, including converting a summer house and assisting with boarding and plastering works to accommodate the necessary accessibility changes.
The programme will air on Friday 3 October at 8pm on BBC One.
